Storing wax

I've had Zymol wax that I bought nearly 3 years ago and HAVE NOT USED IT. I know...strange.

I've had it in the basement all the time. I opened it once, and closed it tightly. Whoa, kind of stupid to ask now, but should it be okay? I'm kind of scared to look at it, I paid quite a bit (I got like 80 dollar stuff, don't know what I was thinking). I supposed if it's gone "bad" I could always tell them about it, since IIRC they told me it should last me a long long time as you are not supposed to use much.

Was I supposed to put it in the fridge ?
