Interior Mold/ Mildew and long term storage

I have a large two story garage, which is very damp. My 01 Viggen has been idle since March, and it is starting to get mold on the interior surfaces. Same thing has happened with other cars that sat for long periods. My "new" 02 Viggen Vert will be stored for winter in 2 months. And I am worried.

I have some ideas on extra ventilation, etc. for garage. A ridge vent, exhaust fans, etc.

1) What is the best and safest way to clean up the 01 Viggen Interior.
2) What steps will help prevent this from happening to my 02 Vig vert and to any car left in storage, for that matter.
