To help other Saabers, could you list the specific pricing of the repairs so that it doesn't get confused (like compaqted had it sound like) "$2000 for a strut replacement done badly and a DI (takes about half a minute to change) is really outrageous!". My guestimate is that the DI cassette came up to about $500.00 Shocks $600.00 60K service $600.00 Flush trans $150.00 And the rest is sales tax and misc small stuff? That's where it hurts going to a dealer because they don't really give you a break when repairs goes hand in hand like spark plug (60K service) and slap a new DI cassette on there at the same time. Another thing that you do pay for at the dealer is to have a loaner car handy (even though that failed to in your case). Did they clean out the throttle body at the 60K service? If not, That could create a stumble at low RPM take off, letting up the clutch. Hope it gets resolved or that you find an indy shop to help you. Anders posted by 67.113.86...
