To help other Saabers, could you list the specific pricing of the repairs so that it doesn't get confused (like compaqted had it sound like) "$2000 for a strut replacement done badly and a DI (takes about half a minute to change) is really outrageous!".
My guestimate is that the DI cassette came up to about $500.00
60K service $600.00
Flush trans $150.00
And the rest is sales tax and misc small stuff?
That's where it hurts going to a dealer because they don't really give you a break when repairs goes hand in hand like spark plug (60K service) and slap a new DI cassette on there at the same time.
Another thing that you do pay for at the dealer is to have a loaner car handy (even though that failed to in your case).
Did they clean out the throttle body at the 60K service? If not, That could create a stumble at low RPM take off, letting up the clutch.
Hope it gets resolved or that you find an indy shop to help you.
