The conclusion you are drawing from your experiment are fallacious. The tinting is radiating the heat back through the window, that is why the snow melted there. As already pointed out, this suggests the exact opposite of what you are claiming. For a truly conclusive experiment, take two similar cars, one with tinted windows and leave them in the sun for a couple of hours. Then actually measure the air temperature inside.
Your argument about night time driving safety is dubious as well. Google window tinting to find out how it actually works. There's more to it than simply "dark colour absorbs heat". A certain percentage is absorbed (and then radiated BOTH directions, reducing the heat in the car) and a certain percentage is reflected (even more greatly reducing the heat in the car). Window tinting is generally designed to reduce headlight glare as well.
