Wireless routers and keeping the copper ?? Posted by adl6009 [Email] (#2526) [Profile/Gallery] (more from adl6009) on Tue, 19 Jan 2010 13:34:39 In Reply to: Install, nwas, Tue, 19 Jan 2010 12:03:57 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I was thinking of running their wireless router mounted on the west side of the house and my wireless router on the east side. (I have cat 5 and coax available at both locations.) The reception for the existing network is sketchy from east to west end.
When you say keep the copper are you referring to the phone service staying on the copper wires OR is it ok to switch to the voip service and just not permit the removal of the copper wiring.
Thanks for all the help.
