I wasn't expecting Keith to swap over his lenses, but rather just adopt an entire new system, whichever one it might be.
The Fuji looks like a great camera, but it doesn't really fit the Contax model of an interchangeable lens rangefinder. That's where I thought the micro 4/3 might be more of a "seamless transition."
No, the original Pens were not on-par with the rangefinders, simply because they were using only half the negative of full frame 35mm rangefinders. But I think the gap between 4/3 & APS-C is much less of a jump, quality-wise. The price gap today is much smaller, too. But if you can get a m4/3 E-PL1 with a (35mm equiv) 28mm-85mm zoom for $399, that's an almost ridiculous price!
