and 96HP. At 55 MPH it would downshift to 2nd on any highway that had a headwind or a slight grade. 65 MPH was achieved with prayer or gravity.

It could not go or stop. It rattled from new and the "vector" tires were more like water skiis than tires in the rain. It had no AC, marginal heat (better than the VW mentioned) no functional window defroster, no radio, and smelled like cheap plastic.

It refused to die, and despite broken wiper switches, wiper motors, blown hoses and doors that would occaissonally open (espessially the hatch) at speed, that 2.2L 4-cyl engine refuse to die, and the van lived for 10+ years and 100k++ miles in our family business.
