And I've taught my wife to do the same thing. As you mentioned, I'm not sure if this is something that's carried over from driving older cars and is no longer an issue...but it can't hurt, right? I'm glad you brought this up...it's something that I've never really given a lot of thought to and I have no idea if there's an actual basis for it or not. Until somebody changes my mind, I'll keep rolling. I'm anxious to read other responses. Drive safely and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
