The tipping load can be calculated. Worst case would be someone hanging on the outer edge of a wide open door. With any vehicle on a lift, it is a good rule not get into it while it is in the air. Another rule is don’t do heavy pulling on a raised vehicle, unless you are bracing against the vehicle. A fellow I worked with would turn pale when they talked about his pulling a car off of jack stands, when he braced himself with a heal in a floor drain. He and others held it long enough for him to get out from under it.
