Thanks, couldn't stay away. Trying to go head to head against the Germans would be very difficult--hell going head to head against the Japanese and Koreans wouldn't be easy--everyone is making some pretty nice cars these days even the Americans. No matter what they come up with the odds are it won't be head and shoulders above anything really. How much better than a 3 seies could any car be for comparable money? A 20K Ford Focus is pretty hard to beat and being a one horse car company isn't going to help. If they can do what mini did they might have a change. Build one car that knocks it out of the park, then slowly expand on that, add model variations and turn it into a full range. At least that's my take on it
