The driver's seat is better than the seat in my '02 9-3 but not as good as the seat in my '02 9-5. It is very supportive with good laterals, but not quite as overall comfortable. The 9-5 was the best seat I've ever owned--better than several Volvos. I'd say the Kia is top three. Ventilation is standard. The passenger seat has fewer adjustments, which isn't good; doesn't have elevation, and it seems to sit low. I don't mind it, when the wife drives, but she's not too wild about it.
