at least this time of year. Are you saying that you don't use soap at all? I think that would quickly ruin the paint if there was anything other than light dust on the car. Around here in the winter there is lots of road grime (salt and sand) on the car, and often dirt and mud in the summer. I sure wouldn't want to rub that into the paint. If the car isn't too dirty, I can use Griot's speed shine or similar with good results.
We have no water shortage problems here, so I use a hose and bucket whenever I can, and a car wash in the winter when the hose is frozen, so I answered "both" to the poll question.
