1985 was great in many ways, but the electrical harness was prone to disintegration. This may have been the root cause of your troubles (depending what they were). Certain years are just better vintages to buy (1989 imho was fantastic).
The reality is that even a nice condition car like the 18000 mile example above will need work, just from brittle rubber parts etc now that it is close to 30 years old. Otherwise, that is a very nice looking 4 door NA, hopefully some enthusiast here grabs it! That said, many are looking for a turbo hatchback, and the pickings there are getting more and more sparse. Verts in good shape are a little more available since many were garage queens. prices are going up!
