lots of them around if you look... eg TSN classifieds Posted by Snowmobile [Email] (#686) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Snowmobile) on Fri, 13 Jun 2014 06:22:59 In Reply to: 2008-2011, that's a good suggestion, Sam8, Thu, 12 Jun 2014 08:22:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Just a quick scan of the TSN classifieds:
2008 turboX 32k $13.5k
2010 9-3X 37k $25.5k
2007 9-3 stick 35k $12.5k
2009 Aero 29k $19.4k
2007 9-3 31k, $10k
That's a pretty good selection of different sorts of 9-3's including a few fairly unique ones. My suggestion where you don't dyi is make sure you have a good independent saab tech in your area and keep up with the regular maintenance. These cars last way past 100k as daily drivers and the maintenance items that crop up at 100k or so are not at all insurmountable. None of my 3 saabs are this new so you should be good for a long time!
Personally, though the V6 is a wonderful engine, I would avoid it simply because it is harder to work on, and at this point, that is what matters most imho... but for some the driving experience is the top priority! I'm not sure how costly service will be for the AWD system going forward, but still, if I had to choose, the one in the TSN listings that appeals to me most is the 9-3X combi. A rare bird and very practical up here in the snow belt!
good luck!
