They drive nice, are very well built and seem to be pretty bullet proof. Wranglers aren't for everyone but are every bit as civilized and haul more because of the square roof. The back seat is a bit smaller but it's also a convertible which adds another benefit. Makes me grin every time I drive it and I've owned one for four years. But the phenomenal resale value is the best feature. Resale is an abstract concept for most people when they're shopping for a car but it shouldn't be--five year old Wranglers still retail in the $20k range and most of them were under $25K new. That's a grand a year to own one--you'd spend that much buying and maintaining a ten year old used car. Someone also suggested a Honda Odyssey. My son has had two of them (and he has a Wrangler) and while they are incredibly handy, what most people don't realize is how nice they are to drive. The interior feels like an Audi and they get amazing gas mileage (over 30 on the highway). It would be well worth your while to take your gang and go for a spin in one. If you do you'll thank me.
