Far different message than my two Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Mon, 30 May 2016 17:36:17 In Reply to: Received Takata Air Bag Recall Repair Letter, Scott Paterson [Profile/Gallery] , Mon, 30 May 2016 16:23:21 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Your letter mentions chance of death and maiming due to a faulty airbag. My two letters for the 9-3 and 9-5, which don't have parts availability, are more like "Yeah, someday you should have this taken care of."
Makes you wonder who is more inept, the Crash Safety Engineers or the Legal Staff. The letter you received would tend to place immense fault on GM for not obtaining replacement parts in a reasonable timeframe if anything bad happens to a driver due to a faulty 9-3 or 9-5 airbag.
The good news, you can get yours fixed!
