OT: TV Series for Saab sightings Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sat, 4 Mar 2017 04:50:27 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My wife discovered a British TV series on Netflix titled "Midsomer Murders" earlier this winter. A simple plot murder solving series located in a fictional countryside area of England called Midsomer, an area that is dotted with multiple tiny villages where the murders always occur. Apparently this show ran for 19 years or so on British TV, Maybe it is still running. Netflix must have all episodes.
Anyway, I got hooked partly because there is a high likelihood of spotting an older Saab or two in each episode. Automotive accuracy is not high on the writer's list of attributes. A Saab 9000 was wrongly identified in one episode's script as a Saab 900. The most heart-wrenching was when an OG900 was used as the chase vehicle in a crash scene with an old 99. Oh the humanity!
Last night had an OG 900 3-door and a NG9-3 Cabriolet.
