47 degrees is the typical maximum angle, but generally speaking 15 degrees is going to be your limit for long life. Don't forget that big droop + big steering can create some pretty extreme angles. Be sure the joint doesn't bind, and be sure the boot isn't stretched or rubbing on itself.
