I've worked on the National / International distribution side for 25 years. I have seen two National Distributors go under since 2015. I do not think print will die off, but it will never be the same like it was in the early 90's. Tough business to be in now. Only big players left on the wholesaler side. Watched Anderson News (outlets all over the country) close their doors only for The News Group to take over even more Wholesale business (and command more leverage and fees). This hurts the small publishers a lot.
