Energy isn't going the way I expected - I really thought we'd have $5/gallon gas by now. But seems as if the renewable sources are ramping up at a pretty good clip. I just read that in Europe offshore wind generation is just starting to be economical without government subsidies. In the long run, a good thing, There are a whole lot of better things to do with the petroleum we get out of the ground than burning it where there's an alternative.
