If I had the financial resources many of the members obviously do fr the extensive /(and some VERY )expensive "other " cars they have written about bought and mention, brag about/on (and on a Saab site !) I would buy a heap of Saab used cars of my favorite model for parts cars and have a virtual unlimited parts supply for life (and my grandchildren too! ) PS IMO a Buick, et all will NEVER be a Saab replacement and I presently feel about GM as many veterans did for years after WWII about Japanese and German cars! I, (perhaps irrationally) HATE GM for their part in killing Saab ! and they did put the final nail in the coffin !(not allowing Victor to use the 9-3 chassis claiming ironically, that the Chinese would copy the 3-8 yr old technology)this at a time when they made and now make more BUICKS in China than the USA ) I wrote about it years ago in the Saab club magazine Now is the perfect time to buy Saab cars for PARTS !why would anyone have a hard time rationalising that ! it's eminently logical! most people have room to park an extra car or two(i have five cars and two do not run) nobody expects you to drive them all ! so just do it and throw a good cover on it after you rust proof it! Instant "free" parts are seriously sublime!
You could say Saab was killed to help Buick ! and now you seriously, want to buy one?
