Funny: Winter Olympics "too cold" 1 Saabers Like This Post! Posted by Snowmobile [Email] (#686) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Snowmobile) on Thu, 8 Feb 2018 14:13:43 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
See the link below. Apparently these are cold temperatures? -10C (14F) overnight low going up to +7C (44F) during the day?!? that's freaking tropical for February... Heck, I wouldn't even bother with a block heater unless it was -20C...
And this one totally killed me:

"It's so cold at the Winter Olympics that skiers are being forced to throw away their expensive skis after practice runs" is the headline. Seriously... there is a wax for -10C. That is about the most common race condition around here: -10C as the high during the day! Current temperature in Banff (as of 3pm today) is -13C with a low of -23C and you can bet there are people training. There would be people training if the high was -23C. Honestly, the course will be worse if it is too warm... They can ship their "broken" skis to me.
Sorry, just too funny!
