I am doing 90+ mph for 20 minutes on my commute. The MS drag coefficient is super low but at that speed air density makes a huge difference. The warmer, the less energy is used. At less that 0'F the impact on range is significant.
I tried the Leaf on my commute and went from full to low battery warning after this high speed section... and that was in the summer. Good thing there was a L3 charger near the highway exit. 93 mph is Leaf's top speed.
