Well, we don't know how many in South have a Tesla, but I wonder if a majority did, would they be able to charge or would available spots be overwhelmed?
Sitting in traffic and not using energy, perhaps, but in high heat situations, what about A/C?
The distance from Miami to Jacksonville is still apporx 300+ miles.
And why does Tesla get to determine your range? All my vehicles have range determined by amount of gas in tank, not the whim of a manufacturer.
My emergency generator is powered by ICE. A battery back up for an extended electrical outage wouldn't cut it.
I've read other posts you made and certainly some are valid points for EVs (short trips, to/from work, around town). But waiting 30-45 min for a recharge every 300 miles would cut it for me.
