Well, aside from the huge exit can, I hope it won't be too loud and obnoxious for you. And I think that because it hangs longitudinally rather than factory transverse, it will be a bit lower and visible. I went through this dilemma with my Sube version of the car, and stumbled on someone swapping out his factory WRX cat back system in good condition for sale on the list. Mine is normally aspirated and smaller diameter so with some minor modification the larger pipes fit nicely and the sound was just right. I can see how with the turbo on yours, your not getting the sound you want or maybe the free flow too. Theres a couple that run around here with modified systems, if I did it again I think I would try to flag down the one that sounded nice and just ask which brand it is. Everyone has a different opinion of loud. Good luck with it, maybe you can find a shop to cut the exit pipe off and weld on a 3" instead of the 5". LOL.
