Every shipper handles this situation differently - some will immediately ship a replacement package and take up the problem with the carrier (Amazon) others wait some minimum amount of time for the carrier to figure things out before taking any further steps (Dell). Sounds like Google subscribes to the latter approach. You probably have cause to cancel the order and get your money back, but they may charge restocking and of course you lose the deal. You can try and harass them into doing something, but chances are you are going to be following their timeline. No doubt Google ships a lot of crap and this happens from time to time... they probably care about you about as much as you think they do. My $0.02.
