OT: Paging Saabnet Brain Trust - Cordless Self-propelled Mowers Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sun, 9 Dec 2018 16:55:13 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Our youngest has asked me to identify the best choice in this category for his yard in Pittsburgh. Yard is small but it has one substantial incline so he is desiring a self-propelled cordless mower. He currently has a manual Fiskars push mower (no engine) which was fine for his dead-flat yard in Detroit but not for his sloped yard in Pittsburgh.
Based on the small size of his yard, and his battery recharging habits, the 40v Greenworks with two 2ah batteries seems to be a better choice than the higher voltage models and higher amp-hour batteries. Higher voltage mowers and higher amp-hours batteries are SIGNIFICANLTY more costly.
Any experiences?
