After hours of searching, I found what is essentially the original remote in a new shell. I was pleasantly surprised that ALL the original functions work,no codes or programming required. Batteries included and installed right out of the box. Remotes.com , no affiliation with this company but I just am so surprised that they are not at the top of the list for a solution to what seems to be a common problem. Plenty of recommendations for the universal ones like Harmony and RCA etc. I guess folks are just inclined to upgrade to a new receiver and move on. Throw away society mentality.
