I recently got my first transverse V-6 car, and jeez everything is a pain to get to! It's a smooth and torquey engine but I'd still take a nice turbo 4 over it. I always thought of a V6 as combining the worst elements of a four cylinder and V8 - all the complexity of the later without that much more power or smoothness -and jamming it sideways into a tight engine bay makes it awful to work on. On the flip side the old plugs still looked pretty good at nearly 100k. It is amazing how long plugs can last these days!
