Probably better to rent the larger, had a friend that decided to try and save a some $$ by trying to cram everything into the smallest trailer possible - he succeeded but in going over a mountain pass it broke one the axles or a wheel bearing went out, U Haul somehow determined that he had overloaded it and he got stuck renting another bigger truck to reload, but in the interim period someone came along and broke into the broken down truck and made off with anything of value.
A complete disaster of a move.
