I still have two and see them in the LA area on a regular basis. The climate here doesn’t kill cars, etc.
Recently completed a 6500 mile trip across the country and counted exactly four Saabs — all 9-3s — the most notable of which was a gorgeous silver ‘06-‘07 9-3 SC heading north on US 67 halfway between Alpine and Ft. Stockton, TX.
(Basic route = LA area-Flagstaff-Taos-Dodge City-KC-Hannibal-Champaign-Dayton-Parkersburg-Gettysburg-Dover-Kitty Hawk-Ft. Bragg-Atlanta-Mobile-Baton Rouge-Houston-San Antonio-El Paso-Tucson-LA area)
Even in LA, though, I never see NG 9-5s. Where I live I regularly see one of those GM rebadged Sorta Saab SUVs.
