This is a deep subject. Brett - who made that video - wrote a book available on Amazon.com. Physicists have a deep distrust of people who try to profit from their ideas - Mills included. In fact, they say that about Brett. Here is the book. https://endofpetroleum.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Brett-Book-Reviews-v5.jpg
Physicist absolutely have a cultural/foundational bias that prevents them from looking at this subject objectively (it is covered beautifully in Brett's book). They actually don't believe there is a fundamental problem (that QM doesn't make sense) and that intuition is not a guide to a valid theory. This is again a deep topic that most physicists - due to their mathematical bias - don't appreciate. They cannot self-diagnose something like this. Scientific research shows that 95% of decision making is made by our "emotional system" - and that logic follows our intuition. Once we decided to lean a direction, we employ logic to backup our hunches. The same is true here.
We're calling for accountability: http://www.brettholverstott.com/annoucements/2016/7/21/accountability
In terms of a starting point - because this is a deep conceptual problem - I wrote an article here.
We can leave it here --- since we've stretched this thread as far as it can go :)
