Most verts have little room in the back seats as the mechanism takes up room ! they just need to accept being cramped to be in a cool car !
to get a vert w/ big room you would need a old US model or a high end MB or BMW ! Volvo are as cramped as a Saab and yuck they are a volvo ! w/ handling & driving dynamics as exciting as a 1980's mini-van !
Most teenagers would rather have a new cell phone than a new car ! The % of kids who drive ,( or want to) is shrinking markedly !
My sons are 22 and 19 and do not want to drive !
Hence, just get a car to please yourself , as I did ! A ferrari F430 ! The wife likes it too ! I deserve it ! and it is my life insurance policy ! ( noone will write you a policy when you have had 7 heart attacks ! LOL ) The VERY best investment you can make ! it's gone up over 10 K $ in Value in 6 mos. ! And you can drive it ! It is insured agreed value for $ 20 K more than it cost ! W/the appreciation, I am essentially making $ and it costs me nothing ! as all the insurance, licsense and maintenence costs are covered ! ( My bro owns 51% so technicly it's his but I get to keep it until I die or it's sold ! )
BTW , the Ferrari is very easy to work on and maintain yourself ! and I do w/ a trip to the dealer 1 X a year to get that stamp in the log book !
Jack my bro, ,he has his own supercar , an Alfa Romeo guilia Quadrofoglio , 505 HP beast !)
We have 4 saabs , 2 viggen verts a 5 door viggen and 9-5 ! & several other cars !
manual trans are going the way of the dodo bird as noone can shift as fast as a new auto ! lap times and aceleration are much better w the new Automatics and you can keep two hands on the steering wheel !
