Pricey but good. Spotless shop, interesting parts cars in their lot (always some 95/96's, 99's). Very thorough, but also very busy.
I've also had good experiences with S&S Auto Sales, and they are the only area shop to offer a $1 loaner (usually an older, high mileage Turbo -- one of their loaners is an SPG with an indicated 350,000 miles on the odometer). One problem is that they're at least an hour outside DC, near Warrenton, VA.
And Auto Scandia is nice, too. Also has a great parts/project lot to snoop around in -- last time I was there I saw some old 544 and 122 Volvos, as well as a Sonett and 96, both in good condition.
There is a shop in Falls Church, VA called Swedish Imports. I had them change my old Saab's oil once (only place with an appointment available on a Saturday before a big trip i was taking), and the experience was unremarkable (as an oil change should be, I guess).
