Yes I see plenty of them here in Switzerland,
I see plenty in the Audi shops too with all kind
of problems. Gearboxes, broken turbo's, blown
headgaskets, or destroyed engines when the timing
belts go bust.
Yes I test drove the A4 2.8, 1.8T, A6 2.8, A6 2.7T
the I bought a 9-5 Aero 5spd
I think the 2.8 engine is the best of them as it
has less problems then the 2.7T and 1.8T
Many people I know which have Audi's have very few
problems with the 2.8L engines new and old, but all
the other engines are rather delicate when compared
to the 2.8L versions. The worst of them is the
20V 2.3L 5cyl, that's a dog that keeps breaking.
Well, in the end Audi is no more then an overpriced VW,
but the VW are better made.
Regards,
Coolknight
