Alert me when someone posts in this thread:

I realy don't care about the ULEV whateverit is that Honda states their new SUV meets. I saw one on the way back from F1 race at Indy & thought it was quite ugly. It's simply a jacked up accord, yuk.

I also will not support the saab SUV even if it does look good, like the X5. Those vehicles are simply a waiste of highway. Unfortunantly the girl I am dating is a SUV fan. She had a 1999 jeep wrangle sahara which flipped on her at 45 mph when someone pulled in fron of her. So she goes & buys a grand cherokee because her father stated it's bigger, thus it's safer. She wasn't to happy when I informed her of the GM employee who died on a test track in one & also when I showed her how top heavy they are.

We also saw a lincoln navigator limo a few days back. She asked me doesn't that defeat the purpose of a SUV? My reply was, so what is the purpose of a SUV for the average person.

They simply are large POS. We have a 2000 Suburban for our company (funeral home) & yes, it's a lot better then the 1998 we had but still a poorly build/designed vehicle in my book :o(
