I'd recommend slowing/stopping R+D for a while and spend that cash on advertising. Americans, save us few, don't care about VC engines and the like. That does not sell cars here (can't speak for over seas, but I do know every car there has the engine size printed on the back--something Saab stopped doing two or three years ago.) What sells here is advertizing. Once advertizing propels sales (that's how it works), they'll have the cash for R&D. By they way, didn't GM pump a couple BILLION dollars into Saab?
