When I got my 900, I thought it had a factory radar detector installed. Turns out its an SC200, made by K40 for Saab vehicles. Whether or not it was dealer installed or not, I do not know. I found the brochure in the owners manual booklet. It had a little LED display mounted down by the gauges, and a box that I assume is mounted behind the grille somewhere. I've seen similar models on the net before, and this seems like it would be the way to go. There is no black box sitting on the dash or clipped to the visor, the only tipoff is a 1/4 tall, by about 4 inch wide LED display on the gauge panel. I covered the labels, and it looks just like a set of LED warning lights. I've been using it for the past couple of days, and it seems to have very good range and reception. The only downside that I can see, besides price, is that the unit is permanetly installed in the vehicle, can't switch it between multiple cars.
