Well, i am sorry to say this seems to be typical of GM.

Their main emphasis as a company seems to be to make a sale.. NOW!

VERY LITTLE emphasis is placed on keeping customers satisfied so they buy again in several years.

This is why GM market share has shrunk from 50% of the U.S. market to just over 25%. Many previous GM owners have sworn off the product due to after-the-sale issues with the vehicle, or having to deal with the dealers. If you have a problem with the car, be prepared to have them blame it on abuse, or say it's normal wear, or stall until the car is out of warranty. If there is a real design defect that surfaces after warranty, you're out of luck.

Sad, becuase some of the vehicles & engines DO really show promise.

We won't be needing another car for 5 years or more, i expect, and i hope that when we do need one, saab will not have been subsumed, and we can look at another one..

On the other hand, our local saab dealer is so bad, we'd NEVER buy a car from them. So we'd be looking used anyways.
