The 90 and 91 were piston-prop airplanes, not fighters. The 90 "Scandia" was intended as a replacement to the DC-3 (and looked very similar to the DC-3), but never sold well (even though it was very economical for the airlines to operate). First flight was 16 November 1946. The 91 "Safir" was a 3 or 4 passenger (depending on the model) single engine airplane. It was used as a primary trainer for the Air Force. First flight was 1945.
No, I don't have all these SAAB facts memorized. I cheated and used an aviation encyclopedia I have. Saab called their first car the 92 since it was the next number, although the next airplane was the Saab 29 (Tunnan, a jet fighter that flew a lot better than you'd guess by looking at it). First flight was 1 September 1948.
