How could it be "just the way it is". Brakes are hydrolic and there should be no difference between a Porshe 930 and the Vanagon. I had one/two old time VW guys drive it...but I think they didn't need the business. I did a renew fluid bleed, but it made no difference. Also a new MC. I guess new pads would be the next step. Frustrated and going camping this weekend. Unsafe.
