I don't understand the "graduated from AWD to RWD" comment... do you live in an area with snow? All the V8 RWD cars seem to be a complete joke around here in winter. So most here would think of graduating in the other direction.
My feeling with reviews is that it is better to test drive the car than worry too much about reviews. Performance oriented cars tend to have stiffer suspensions and can therefore be labelled as "harsh" but one person's "harsh" is another's "finally a car that is not mushy"... all pretty subjective... my 9-5 now has konis and stiffer springs and bigger wheels with performance tires and I like it so much more than what it was stock, but many would find it "harsh" I'm sure... my c900s are more harsh than the 9-5, and I like them like that but I'm sure others would not.
