What about the Main Line area? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Wed, 1 Mar 2017 14:32:35 In Reply to: Independence Hall, No Snaab, Wed, 1 Mar 2017 04:16:58 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The closest I have ever been to Philly is when I was managing construction projects at the GM Wilmington DE assembly plant. I was surprised to discover that Wilmington and Philadelphia sort of flow right into each other. (east coasters may take exception with this and I may be dead wrong).
The Main Line area was/is the seat of Philadelphia's old money with fabulous mansions. Of course in your present line of work, your comment on seeing these old homes may be more like "Dang, I sure am glad I don't have to keep that old house maintained!"
