Can the Stop-Start be de-activated? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sun, 9 Apr 2017 15:30:03 In Reply to: Video tells and shows more., Norm9-5, Sun, 9 Apr 2017 06:09:54 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I was talking to a neighbor yesterday who has a new BMW X1. This vehicle also has Stop-Start, but can be deactivated if the driver chooses. I didn't ask if this means it is deactivated until they decide they want to activate it again, or if it is deactivated only till the next time the ignition is turned off via the dash button or key.
I may be slightly Geeky but there is too much technology in cars today for my tastes. Stop-Start and CRT screen controls are two of my pet peeves.
