We now have 2 9-5's as our year round daily drivers (I still drive a c900 but mainly in summer - keeping it out of the salt, which pretty much killed our other c900). We just got Nokian Hakka R2 tires for one of the 9-5's in the hope that it will improve the winter driving performance. Honestly FWD is great in snow on the c900's (they really really do not need AWD), but not spectacular with the 9-5. I'm hoping it's been mostly a tire thing and we'll have 2 of them with different tires to A/B this over the winter... but the c900's were awesome in snow.
I guess what I'm saying is yes, they should have implemented AWD sooner and I can only imagine that it would have significantly improved sales.Posts in this Thread:
