I just put a set of AS05s on m Viggen and am pretty disappointed in them. They are probably the worst cold weather tires I have ever had - hard as rocks in the morning and they don't warm up readily. When I bought them, there was a warning about using them in sub-45 degree whether which I largely disregarded as most sporty tires are hard in the cold, but these tires are on a whole different level. I forgive the BFGs on the Fiero because the car is fairly light (especially in the front!) and the tires are very large (225 x 245)... 225s on a Viggen convertible should not be *worse*.
They're fine in warm weather - even good - but the cold weather performance means even here in mild Sacramento they are literally a 3-season tire. I have personally never experienced that before in California across hundreds of tires & cars.
