I too was pretty skeptical of Chrysler products but I've had two Wranglers and they've been the most bullet proof cars I've ever owned. I have nearly 60K on my '14 Sahara and I've done the rear brakes, a battery, and a head light bulb (all wear items). I'm still on the original tires--probably have another 10K left. It still looks and drives like a new car. They aren't rated all that well by the consumers mags, but I don't know how it could be anymore reliable. I get 19 mpg in mostly city driving which is as good or better than any of the European cars and Subarus I've owned. Not sure how others models are. Let us know how it goes.
