Yeah, I have no idea about Buick marketing, but I recalll the classic old folks cars were Crown Vics/ Grand Marquis and that ilk. I had a Crown Vic rental once and holy crap, what a boat.
The seat height concern is a thing. I'm 67, not 80, but last year I busted a femur and also had arthritis in the opposite knee, and getting in and out of my A4 was a chore, and I thought that a higher seat would be nice. Fortunately both conditions have improved so I don't need a Buick just yet....I may have to take a test spin in a Jag I-Pace when it's available.
