Alfa's warranty is pretty much in line with competitors - the car is not intended to be like a Hyundai appliance (I own one) and to me the 10yr/100k warranty is nice - but it see it largely as a marketing tool, it applies only to the power train and if you sell the car the next owner gets 5yr/50k . Electrical stuff was 5/50 in 2013 but now is 3/36.
I would expect most people who understand Alfa Romeo - or most any Italian car aren't buying the car thinking it will have the reliability of say a Japanese or US maker.
