It has always baffled me too..... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Mon, 29 Jul 2019 15:49:44 In Reply to: Car Show Experience, No Snaab, Mon, 29 Jul 2019 04:08:56 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have never owned one. Decades ago I thought owning a WWII Jeep would be cool, mostly because they were apparently still available as Govt Surplus in the late 1960s when I first started to notice cars.
My wife has what appears to be an overabundance of female co-workers who drive Wranglers. Too high off the ground for wearing a skirt. Rough ride due to stiff suspension and short wheelbase. Prone to rolling over in expressway winter time spin-outs. Limited interior room.
Maybe these women view Wranglers as Guy Magnets. Most of the women are permanently stuck in adolescence - in my opinion.
I was looking for the Euro Hangar Car Show in Holland this Summer. I guess it was cancelled way back in February with no explanation given. Even the Airport Authorities were shocked to learn of the cancellation.
